Which networks will you be on in the Czech Republic?
In the Czech Republic the eSIM automatically picks whichever of T-Mobile, O2 or Vodafone is strongest where you are.

You are not tied to one operator. When roaming on your own contract gets expensive in the Czech Republic
Trips to the Czech Republic rarely fail on coverage — they fail on billing. Your home operator treats the country as roaming and charges per day, per megabyte or through an add-on you have to activate first, and what it adds up to usually shows up only on the next bill. Prepaid turns that around: you pay up front, you know how many gigabytes and how many days you get, and nothing follows you home afterwards.
Four situations come up again and again. First, you are travelling from a country whose operators bill the Czech Republic by the day — Switzerland, the UK, the US, Türkiye, Brazil, the Gulf states or most of Asia. Second, your tariff allows less data abroad than at home, and you notice only once the throttle kicks in. Where the networks actually reach in the Czech Republic

Two things are worth knowing. First, the hiking and ski regions: valleys in Šumava, Krkonoše, the Jeseníky mountains, Bohemian Switzerland and around the rock towns of Adršpach have dead spots — download the map offline beforehand and it stops being an issue. Second, the borders: the Czech Republic has long frontiers with Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia, and within sight of them your phone sometimes grabs the stronger signal from the other side. If a German, Austrian or Polish network name suddenly appears on your screen, you have no connection through this eSIM. Set network selection to manual for a moment, choose T-Mobile CZ, O2 CZ or Vodafone CZ, then switch back to automatic.
