Verification codes for WhatsApp, Telegram and many other apps — on your own number. Active in under 2 minutes, no SIM card needed.
A virtual phone number is a real phone number that works without a physical SIM card. With Simbye you get your own number from the USA (+1), the UK (+44), the Netherlands (+31) or Australia (+61) and receive SMS and verification codes in real time — in the Simbye app or on your order page.
Your number is assigned only to you and is never shared while it is active. It is a real number from its country — not a shared online number — so verification codes from WhatsApp, Telegram and many other apps reach you directly.

Text messages and verification codes sent to your number appear in the Simbye app and on your order page on simbye.com, wherever you are in the world.

Yes — that's what the numbers are made for. Verification codes from WhatsApp, Telegram and many other apps arrive by SMS on your number and show up in the Simbye app in real time.
In two places: 1) In the Simbye app in the “My SIM” tab — tap your number to open the inbox. 2) On the website at simbye.com/pages/topup after entering your order number and email.
Yes, on the UK (+44), Dutch (+31) and Australian (+61) numbers: add the optional calls add-on and incoming calls ring right in the Simbye app. You can add it when you buy, or later in the app. The US number (+1) receives SMS only. None of the numbers can make outgoing calls or send SMS.
You choose the term when you buy: 30 days, 6 or 12 months. Renew before it expires — in the Simbye app or on the website — and you keep the exact same number. If you added calls, they stay active at no extra cost. Auto-Renew in the app always renews for 30 days.
Yes. While your number is active, it is assigned to you alone and nobody else receives its messages. If you let it expire, it is released, and your next purchase gets you a new number.
No. There is nothing to install — no SIM, no eSIM, no QR code to scan. Your number is ready minutes after you order and works on any phone, tablet or computer with an internet connection. Your normal SIM stays exactly where it is.
Yes. The number is hosted in the cloud, so you can use it from anywhere in the world — you don't have to be in the USA, the UK, the Netherlands or Australia. All you need is an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to read your SMS in the Simbye app.
No. You pay once for the term you choose (30 days, 6 or 12 months) — no contract and no automatic charges, unless you switch on Auto-Renew in the Simbye app; it renews for 30 days at a time.
Pick the country that fits what you need — for example the country of the app or service you are signing up for, or the country where your contacts are. If you also want to receive calls, choose the UK, Dutch or Australian number and add the calls option. You can also keep several numbers at the same time.
This is a number only: incoming SMS — and, with the calls option on the UK, Dutch or Australian number, incoming calls — in the Simbye app and on your order page, without mobile data and with nothing to install. Our eSIMs with calls & phone number are real eSIMs with mobile data for your trip. Choose a virtual number if you mainly need verification codes; choose an eSIM if you also want data abroad.
