Can I use it for WhatsApp and verification codes?
Yes. Your Dutch number receives SMS and one-time codes — for example from WhatsApp, Telegram and other apps and websites that confirm your account by SMS. Every message appears within seconds in your private inbox.
How do I enter my number in WhatsApp?
Select Netherlands (+31) in the country list and type the rest of your number without a leading 0 — for example 970 1234 5678. Your exact number is shown in your order confirmation and in the Simbye app.
Can I receive calls on my number?
Yes, with the calls add-on. Add it when you buy (30 days with calls: 13,95€) or later in the Simbye app. Incoming calls ring right in the Simbye app — sign in with the email address from your order. Outgoing calls and sending SMS are not included.
How long does my number last — and can I renew it?
Each plan runs for 30 days and costs 10,95€. Renew before it ends — in the Simbye app or on your order page — and you keep exactly the same number. A renewal costs 10,95€ again; if you have the calls add-on, calls stay included at no extra cost. There is no contract: you only pay when you renew.
Where do I read my SMS?
In two places: in the Simbye app (“My SIM” tab — tap your number) and on your secure order page on simbye.com. New messages appear within seconds, and verification codes are highlighted so you can copy them with one tap.
Do I keep the same number?
Yes. As long as you renew before the 30 days are up, the number stays yours and you never have to verify your accounts again. If a plan runs out without renewal, the number returns to our pool.
Do I need a SIM card, an eSIM or a special phone?
No. Nothing is installed — no SIM card, no eSIM, no QR code. Your number is ready as soon as you order and works on any phone, tablet or computer with internet, anywhere in the world. Your current SIM stays untouched.
My code is not arriving — what can I do?
First check the format: country code plus your number without a leading 0. Then refresh your inbox in the app or on your order page. If nothing arrives after 60 seconds, request a new code in the app you are verifying. Still stuck? Our support team checks your number live in the chat.
