eSIM Unlimited Extra Days Brazil

The Brazil extra days are an add-on that lengthens the unlimited Brazil plan you're already running, without changing anything else. The data stays unlimited, the same eSIM keeps working and the networks stay the same. It is the answer to a trip that got longer, rather than a second plan you have to set up and switch between.

The Brazil extra days start at 5,95€; cost depends on days added. The options on this page differ in the number of extra days they carry, and each has its price in the table above, shown in your own currency. You pay once, there is no contract, and nothing renews by itself when the extra days are over.

No, you don't have to install a new eSIM. The days attach to the eSIM that is already in your phone, so there is nothing to install, nothing to scan and no line to switch. You keep the same profile in your settings and the same connection you are using at that moment. Your own SIM stays where it is too.

To make sure the days land on the right eSIM, you enter its order number. Enter it on our top-up page, pick how many days you want, and the extension is applied to that eSIM. The order number is in your original confirmation email, and the app shows it next to the eSIM as well.

Yes, you can add the days while already in Brazil. You buy them over the connection you still have or over any Wi-Fi, and nothing has to be installed on the phone afterwards. Doing it while the plan is still running is the tidier way, so the line carries on without a gap in the middle of your trip.

Your phone in Brazil will use whichever network is stronger — TIM or Vivo, automatically. There is nothing to type in and no profile to pick. If reception is poor somewhere, set network selection to manual in your phone settings for a moment and choose the other network; you are back online after a few seconds.

No CPF or any registration needed. Prepaid cards bought inside Brazil have to be registered to a person, and travellers repeatedly report that staff still ask for a CPF, the tax number visitors do not have. Your eSIM joins the Brazilian networks as a foreign line, so you register nothing and walk into no shop.

You'll lose signal in Brazil once you leave the cities and the coast. The state capitals, the well-known beaches and Foz do Iguacu are well covered. Expect dead stretches along the BR highways, in the Pantanal, in the Chapada Diamantina, across the Lencois Maranhenses, on the sand track to Jericoacoara and in the Amazon away from Manaus and Belem.

How much data you need for Brazil isn't something to work out here: these extra days extend an unlimited Brazil plan, so the volume stays open. As a yardstick, Maps, messengers and ride apps in Rio or Sao Paulo run on a few hundred MB a day, photo uploads on roughly a gigabyte, and streaming or a laptop hotspot on several times that.

The eSIM that is best for Brazil depends on your route, how much data you use, how long you stay and whether you need a Brazilian number. An eSIM for Brazil is a digital SIM card built into your phone. This page is not a plan on its own: it adds days to an unlimited Brazil eSIM you are already running on TIM or Vivo, so there is nothing to install and no line to switch. Without that eSIM, start on the Brazil page.
